In a similar vein to the comparison I made a few days ago between Pilate, Barabbas, and Christ, I'm currently making notes on one between Herod and Christ. Herod, as a type, was a taker, hateful, power hungry, and sought to be served. Christ, in contrast, was a giver, loving, hungry to empower others, and sought to serve rather than to be served. Examining your life, what profile to you more cleanly fit into, Christ, or Herod?
